Jan Kowalski

Graduated and defended his PhD thesis in Mathematics at Warsaw University of Technology. Professional career associated with Bank Pekao. First in MIS, since 2008 in ALM. Currently responsible for liquidity and interest rate risk management, as well as Pekao Group funding strategy, FTP and hedge accounting. Strongly involved in various projects both within Pekao (e.g. contingency and recovery planning, MREL strategy) and in Polish banking sector (LCR&NSFR implementation, CHF mortgages, fixed rate loans, BMR transition). President of ALM Committee working with Polish Banking Association, active tutor in ALM area. In private life a sports enthusiast: Polish champion in American football with the Warsaw Eagles, triathlete, cycled up Mont Ventoux.
