Kathleen Olin

Kat Olin serves as General Counsel of Advent Capital Management, LLC, a global asset management firm specializing in global and domestic convertible, high yield and event-driven strategies based on a credit focused investment process. Prior to joining Advent, Ms. Olin was the General Counsel and Global Chief Compliance Officer at Aperture Investors, LLC, a start-up asset management firm with U.S. and non-U.S. registered investment vehicles focused on multiple strategies. Between 2012 and 2019, Ms. Olin was Deputy General Counsel and Global Chief Compliance Officer at Indus Capital Partners, LLC, a global investment management firm focused on Asia and Emerging Markets. Prior to Indus, Ms. Olin was the sole legal and compliance counsel at Zimmer Lucas Partners, LLC, a U.S. energy focused investment management firm. Before Zimmer, Ms. Olin spent over a decade at law firms in New York and Chicago. Ms. Olin graduated with an A.B. in English and Political Science from Duke University and a J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School. Ms. Olin has over 20 years of industry experience.
