He has been a practicing clinical academic since 1998, working for 11 years in Far North Queensland and in Tasmania since 2009. He has a list of clinical research publications that includes minimally invasive surgery, the epidemiology of pancreatitis and anal neoplasia, sexual health literacy, and most recently, the telehealth needs of patients with complex needs.
He has over 30 years’ experience in teaching and assessment, particularly in the areas of Men’s Health, sensitive examinations, and procedural skills.
