Sean Mchugh

Sean serves as an independent non-executive director on the board of directors for Mizuho Securities Asia Ltd. , serving on both the Audit and Remuneration Committees. Sean recently retired as a partner at Goldman Sachs after over 20 years of service. Sean served in numerous senior compliance roles in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong. His most recent roles were head of International Compliance and head of Asia Pacific Compliance and was the first compliance officer to be made partner outside the head office in New York. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Sean was a director and first vice president at Salomon Smith Barney, a senior consultant in the Compliance Department of Fidelity Investments in Boston and a regulator at FINRA in New York. Sean is actively involved in his alma mater, the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, serving as co-chair of his alumni class. Sean earned a BA in Economics from Holy Cross in 1989 and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University in 1993.
