as it stands at the moment.

I think one of the big issues

that, that creates uncertainty

with investment, or investors.

In the hydrogen industry

is the fact that we have

to tie together so many

{{00:00:49}}
different industry verticals.

{{00:00:50}}
So you're talking about

{{00:00:51}}
tying together electricity

{{00:00:52}}
production, water treatment,

{{00:00:54}}
hydrogen production, terminal

{{00:00:56}}
operations, distribution

{{00:00:58}}
pipeline injection, and

{{00:01:00}}
achieving a seamless

{{00:01:01}}
integration between all

{{00:01:02}}
these verticals is something

{{00:01:03}}
that gives investors a lot

{{00:01:04}}
of nervousness and  fear

{{00:01:06}}
about return.

Something a lot of the

investors I don't think

realize is that these

{{00:01:11}}
industries are already

{{00:01:13}}
very well covered by a lot

{{00:01:14}}
of automation experts and

expertise, and the integration

{{00:01:18}}
of these verticals is going

{{00:01:20}}
to mirror very closely what

{{00:01:22}}
is happening in the oil

{{00:01:23}}
and gas world for upstream,

{{00:01:24}}
midstream compression,

{{00:01:26}}
et cetera, distribution.

It's already sort of

{{00:01:30}}
being done in a different

{{00:01:31}}
sort of industry way,

{{00:01:33}}
but the solutions exist

{{00:01:34}}
to tie this all together

{{00:01:35}}
and address any business

{{00:01:36}}
concerns very, effectively.

So I think technology

plays a big part in that.

But I think the efficiency

in advancements for the

conversion process from

electricity, green electrons

to green molecules is

{{00:01:51}}
something that's going

{{00:01:52}}
to have to improve it and

{{00:01:54}}
the data capture, AI learning

{{00:01:56}}
rates, et cetera, are gonna

{{00:01:57}}
have a big role to play

{{00:01:58}}
there In achieving those

{{00:01:59}}
efficiency improvements, the

{{00:02:01}}
more we develop technologies

{{00:02:04}}
such as, you know, hydrogen

{{00:02:05}}
or ammonia fueled shipping,

{{00:02:07}}
mobility for hydrogen.

Potentially even hydrogen

{{00:02:10}}
injection and appliances in

{{00:02:11}}
homes, the greater we grow

{{00:02:14}}
the market and the bigger the

{{00:02:15}}
market, the bigger the demand.

The bigger the demand,

{{00:02:17}}
the more it's gonna drive,

{{00:02:19}}
investment certainty to

{{00:02:20}}
start to develop projects

{{00:02:22}}
to supply that demand.

{{00:02:25}}
We're stuck in a bit of a

chicken and egg situation.

I almost feel in Australia,

{{00:02:28}}
in that, we need to secure

{{00:02:32}}
those offtake and have

{{00:02:34}}
bankability around that.

{{00:02:36}}
Upfront before people

{{00:02:37}}
are willing to invest

{{00:02:37}}
and actually get the

{{00:02:38}}
projects off the ground.

{{00:02:40}}
But I think the

{{00:02:41}}
demand primarily is

{{00:02:42}}
coming from overseas.

{{00:02:44}}
And we need to start looking

{{00:02:45}}
at how we can develop

{{00:02:46}}
that local consumption and

{{00:02:47}}
market in Australia as well.

One of the big strategies

{{00:02:50}}
that are gonna have to be

{{00:02:51}}
deployed is to focus on, as

{{00:02:53}}
opposed to multiple, smaller

{{00:02:59}}
dispersed hydrogen production

{{00:03:01}}
facilities, et cetera, is

{{00:03:03}}
to try and focus in on a few

{{00:03:05}}
key larger scale projects.

{{00:03:07}}
Deal with people that

{{00:03:09}}
have the backing.

{{00:03:11}}
Have some sort of experience

{{00:03:13}}
in the game, be that on

{{00:03:14}}
the electricity side, on

{{00:03:16}}
the gas handling side,

{{00:03:18}}
et cetera, and really get

{{00:03:20}}
behind those projects and

{{00:03:21}}
try and, partner with them.

{{00:03:23}}
Look for technology partners,

{{00:03:24}}
look for technology solution

{{00:03:26}}
providers that are gonna help

{{00:03:28}}
to uncover those improvements

{{00:03:30}}
and efficiencies, et cetera.

And those are the companies

you wanna try and partner

{{00:03:34}}
with and invest in.

To ensure that you're

going to get some

sort of return on that

investment in the long run.

It's not gonna happen quickly.

It's not gonna be a, a, a

quick return on investment,

but I have no doubt that

it will happen in time.

they, they're the ones that

are probably gonna have the

greatest chance of success

in, making it all commercially

viable and generating those

returns in the long run.
