With a foundational degree complemented by several professional certifications and advanced studies in sustainable management from LSU, Green has a comprehensive portfolio that reflects her commitment to creating healthy, resilient communities and advocating for equity. Her dedication extends beyond her professional endeavors as she had actively participated as a former board member and volunteer for various non-profit organizations, including USGBC Florida and the NAACP Jacksonville Environmental & Climate Justice Subcommittee. Green's efforts have been highlighted on national platforms, earning her widespread recognition. Recently, she was featured on the cover of Edible Northeast Florida Magazine and two Environmental Achievement Awards from the Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board, acknowledging her significant contributions to government and environmental justice.
