About the speakers
- Nina KrausPrincipal, Fund Investments at Hamilton LaneNina is a Principal on Hamilton Lane’s global Fund Investment Team. She is based in the firm’s London office, where she focuses on fund investments across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Nina is a member of Hamilton Lane’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council and leads the global Fund Investment Team’s ESG Taskforce. Nina began her career at Hamilton Lane in 2013 and has previously worked for Hamilton Lane in Philadelphia and Munich, where she focused on North American and EMEA fund investments, respectively. Nina is involved in Level20 as a member of the Future Leaders Committee. Nina received a B.A. in Economics, with Honours, and a minor in Biology from Hamilton College.
- Peter DunbarHead of Private Equity at UN-PRIPPeter Dunbar is a professional with over 20 years of experience in the asset management industry. As the Head of Private Equity at the United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), he leads its work in driving responsible investment and ESG practices in the private equity and venture capital space. Before joining UNPRI, he spent over a decade working within the emerging markets private equity team of Capital Group, one of the world's largest investment management firms, giving him a unique perspective on the industry.
- Mauro PfisterManaging Director, Secondaries at Capital DynamicsMauro is a Managing Director on the Secondaries team and a member of our Responsible Investment Committee. He has over 10 years of investment management experience, and has been involved in primary and secondary investments across the entire spectrum of private equity and infrastructure strategies. Mauro has distinguished himself by developing Capital Dynamics’ proprietary quantitative model for analysing performance, by helping to establish the firm’s strategic business partnerships around the world, and more recently by leading the firm’s portfolio and risk management team. Mauro holds a master’s degree in Mathematics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
- Denise OdaroHead of ESG at PAI PartnersDenise heads the ESG team at PAI Partners, which is tasked with ESG integration across the firm and sustainable value creation of portfolio companies. She joined PAI from The World Bank Group where she spent 11 years, mostly in the US and in France as well as the UK. She was the Head of Investor Relations & Sustainable Finance Coordination at the IFC, where she led both the ESG Capital Markets Integration and Sustainable Finance Committees. Denise also served as the Chair of the global Green, Social and Sustainability-Linked Bond Principles Steering Committee under ICMA. Denise started her career in the UK, working for global financial institutions including Goldman Sachs and GE Capital in various capital markets roles.
- Felix HermesHead of Private Equity & Sustainable Infrastructure at Blue OrchardFelix is responsible for BlueOrchard’s private equity and sustainable infrastructure practices. Prior to joining BlueOrchard as Chief Operating Officer in 2016, Felix was an Executive Director of Corporate Business Development at Bank Vontobel. He has over 20 years of experience in shaping asset managers and financial services organizations as consultant and member of management. Felix holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
