Kirk Tanner has served as a director and as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Wendy’s Company since February 2024.

Prior to joining Wendy’s, he spent over 30 years at PepsiCo, Inc., a global leader in food, snacks, and beverages. Most recently, he was Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo Beverages North America from January 2019 to February 2024. Before that, he held several senior leadership positions, including President and Chief Operating Officer of North America Beverages (2016–201😎, Chief Operating Officer of North America Beverages and President of Global Foodservice (2015–2016), and President of Global Foodservice (2014–2015).

Tanner began his career with PepsiCo in 1992 and held a variety of roles across domestic and international markets. His experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Frito-Lay North America’s West region (2009–2013), Vice President of Sales for PepsiCo U.K. and Ireland (2008–2009), and Region Vice President roles across several U.S. regions including the Mountain, Mid-America, and California regions between 2000 and 2008.
