two months have gone by.

But there are still some very big
pressing digital banking trends that

community financial institutions need
to be aware of going forward into this

year, and I'm very excited today to be
joined by my friend David Hall, who's a

banking strategy expert and influencer
to really delve into what those are.

My last name doesn't fit on the
title slide, as you could probably

And I'm a customer marketing
manager on Team LGP.

So without further ado, David,
I'm gonna kick it over to you

Go ahead and introduce yourself and
let's tell the good people about

And good morning, good afternoon,
good evening to everybody that

As Johnny said, there's a lot of things
happening and while it feels, given

the fact that we are now at March 1st
it worked two months into the year,

And,  I think as the industry continues
to work   on our pivots and as we

think about how we adapt, there's I
think what we find is not everything is

And I think that's one of the themes
you'll see as we talk through this

is,   the preparation that we go through
as an organization and as an industry

So I'll say really quickly,  I've been
in banking for approaching 30 years now.

I started, I accidentally
got into banking.

I started as a part-time job as
a teller for Bank of America.

I was working, I grew up
in Las Vegas, super hot.

I did not want to have an outside job,
so,  I took the lazy route and went for

Loved it and have loved being in
banking and the experiences I've had

Recently just about a little more than
a month ago I started  a new role at

Bank of Hawaii out of Honolulu, which I
don't expect anybody to feel bad for me.

It's a beautiful place
and I love being here.

And I   really love that our organization
is really focused on how do we create and

put our customers at the center of our
experience particularly in the digital

So that's one of the things that
I really love, that I get to do.

And then things like this,
this is actually one of my

The responsibility and
opportunities that I have.

To your point, John, let's jump in
and talk about these things and the

It's the top 10, the
top five, the top this.

Well, I mean,  we work through that
and   we've got some top items that

Again, the reality is,  that these
can pivot and shift at any given time,

We have political and we have
socioeconomic and we have social

influences that come into this as
well  that may pivot and change.

I think that at the core of this is one
of the most critical things I would love

for us all to take away is that in our
preparation for all of these things,

One is that we are customer focused and
centric in what we do and that we are.

Building and developing capabilities in
our organization to be able to pivot and

That's one of the things
we're gonna jump into.

We're gonna talk about open finance
payments is a, is another big a big focus

as that's  a landscape that's shifting
quite a bit and expect it to do more.

We're gonna talk about
leveraging your contact center.

We're gonna address TikTok just briefly
and we're gonna talk about fraud.
