Ruth hails from a mixed farming operation in Central West NSW, and like many farm kids kicked off her career in agriculture with agronomy and field work. Ruth has held various roles within the industry after hanging up her agronomy boots, from regional sales manager for a major agricultural chemical supplier to a projects and installations manager for a fencing and stockyards company. Ruth now brings a solid primary producer viewpoint as a Policy Director for AgForce, the peak advocacy body for Queensland’s broadacre primary producers including grains, cattle, sheep, wool and goats as well as sugarcane. Ruth has a great passion for sharing agriculture’s story and believes it is important for every person to understand where their food and fibre comes from.
