We are here at Money2020
Europe in Amsterdam on day one.

My name is Tyler Payth, I'm a
reporter for Fintech Futures.

And today I'm very happy to be
joined by Bensi Aviv of Amdocs.

It's wonderful to be here
at Money2020 Europe again.

It's it always fills me up
with energy, to be honest.

To see so many people with
so many different I would say

So we get to learn a lot, we get
to explain a lot about what we do,

It's one that we share capabilities
and knowledge, but it's also one that

we get to pick up a lot of the things
that are going on in the market.

The expectations of our potential
partners, but also our competitors,

Speaking of letting people know what
you're doing, we're here at your wonderful

We've got A lot of delegates roaming
around us, which is good to see.

But for those of, for those that
are watching this interview online

on, on Fintech Futures why don't we
give them a little bit of a taste

of, first of all, what, who you are
and what your role is, and generally

I've been with the company for 20
years, out of which the last 11 years

Amdocs is a, It's an international
organization with different line of

businesses that we support, different type
of industries that we get to work with.

And the one that I'm I'm very
excited and passionate about is

So 11 years ago, I made the decision
to, to act, to move into this industry.

I was fortunate enough
to be, accepted into it.

And since then I I started as a site
manager to one of our biggest customers

but then, my job changed over, of
course, over the course of time.

And I was fortunate enough to
help my partners and my, my, my

And through that I also
extended my career.

So nowadays I'm the, global head
FinTech solutions, and I'm responsible

for our delivery operations and
and pre-sale activities globally.

I think that's one of the wonderful
things about FinTech is, that financial

services more broadly is there's always
a space for everybody, isn't there?

And there's always something
there to sink your teeth into

As global head of FinTech solutions at
Andocs, and I'm sure as well being here,

we're seeing a lot of technologies, new
technologies and innovations and concepts

Maybe you can just give us a little
bit of a rundown of the trends,

And more importantly what are our
banks looking to within these trends?

I think first is the obvious
thing about technology, right?

If you look at a typical traditional
bank, they the, vast majority of

them have been in business for
many, years, therefore they have all

sorts of different technologies that
they deployed and implemented over

The reality is such that different line of
businesses would most likely be supported

by different type of cold banking
systems, so they might have a different.

system to do their deposits and
a different system to do their

mortgages business and a different
system to do their loan business.

And therefore, on one hand, you see
this need to do this modernization, this

transformation that everybody speaks about
is how do you take mobile based technology

that was built many years ago and convert
it into cloud native, Java based type

of technology that you can enjoy the
benefits of a cloud environment or the

flexibility of the cloud environment,
provides, but That has been the challenge

And it will continue being the challenge
for the for, a few years to come.

But beyond that, I think the next or
the second category of expectations from

If in the past banks were expected to
be extremely good in offering specific

products, like how do you sell product
better, how do you sell mortgage better,

I think the expectation now
from the market is how do you

I think that each and every
one of us in one way or another

Our expectation is that our
relationship with the bank would

be translated into the type of
products that the bank offers to me.

So it's no longer just the fact of
which kind of category do I fit to?

Which is the typical way of how
banks would segment customers and

It's more about how do you
see me as an individual?

It means, what is my
current situation in life?
