A mentor is actually more of a two
way street, and I think mentorship is

something that is valuable for everybody
within the industry, whether you're

a mentor or a mentee, and I think
actually what's so important about

mentorship is that So many mentors have
said, wow, I've learned so much and so

many new perspectives from my mentee.

And these are often quite scenario
based, different things that have

happened in the workplace and how best
to utilize the other person's experience.

Sponsorship, I think is totally,
underused, especially for

marginalized communities and
minorities within the space.

But sponsorship is exactly that,
actually putting somebody forward,

sponsoring them, vouching for them,
having their back, and I would love

to see more of this moving forward.

The main difference between mentorship
and sponsorship is, sponsorship, someone

you, so they're really sponsoring you.

Mentoring, you pick the mentor where
you think you have a development area.

make it a priority, so really.
