  • Taj Sidhu
    Taj Sidhu
    Head of European & Asian Private Credit at Carlyle
    Mr. Sidhu is a Managing Director, Head of European Illiquid Credit and is based in London. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Sidhu was a Managing Director and Head of European Private Credit for Oz Management (Och-Ziff) where he worked for almost 14 years. Mr. Sidhu led Private Credit in Europe, was a member of Oz Management’s Global Commitments Committee, European Institutional Credit Strategies Investment Committee and European Executive Committee. Mr. Sidhu joined Oz Management in 2004 and during his tenure was involved in a broad spectrum of the firm’s investment strategies. Prior to joining Oz Management, Mr. Sidhu was an Investment Banking Associate at Merrill Lynch in the Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance Groups. Mr. Sidhu has a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Warwick Mathematics Institute.

    Mr. Dennis joined Davidson Kempner in July 2008. Mr. Dennis was appointed Managing Director in January 2011, became a Managing Member in January 2014 and Co-Deputy Executive Managing Member in January 2020. From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Dennis was an Associate Director in the Principal Mortgage Trading Group at Barclays Capital and was an Associate in Mortgage Trading at Credit Suisse from 2003 to 2007. He received a B.A. from Yale University in 2002. Mr. Dennis serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Peddie School in Hightstown, New Jersey and also serves as a member of its investment committee.

    Mr. Shraga is a Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Signal Capital Partners Limited. Prior to founding the firm, he was Global Head of Structured Finance at Deutsche Bank from 2009 to 2015 creating the street’s most profitable structured business and largest contributor to the firm’s profitability. Mr. Shraga’s responsibilities spanned the US, Europe, and Asia, with a focus on activities such as Commercial Real Estate, ABS, Illiquid Credit, Special Situations and Principal Distressed. Additionally, from 2012 to 2015, he was Co-Chairman of the firm’s Market Risk Committee. He began at Deutsche Bank in 2000 serving in many roles. Mr. Shraga holds a B.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Toronto.

    Jamie Weinstein
    Managing Director, Portfolio Manager, Head of Corporate Special Situations at PIMCO
    Mr. Weinstein is a managing director and portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office and leads corporate special situations, focusing on PIMCO’s opportunistic and alternative strategies within corporate credit. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2019, he worked for KKR as a portfolio manager for the firm’s special situations funds and portfolios, which he managed since their inception in 2009. He was also a member of the firm’s special situations, real estate, and India NBFC investment committees and the KKR credit portfolio management committee. Previously, Mr. Weinstein was a portfolio manager with responsibility across KKR’s credit strategies. Prior to joining KKR, he was with Tishman Speyer Properties as director of acquisitions for Northern California and at Boston Consulting Group as a consultant. He has 21 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and operations research from Princeton University.
  • Isaiah M. Toback
    Isaiah M. Toback
    Partner, Deputy Co-Chief Investment Officer at Castlelake
    Mr. Toback joined Castlelake in 2015 and is deputy co-chief investment officer. In this role, Mr. Toback is responsible for guiding and executing the firm’s global investment strategy across asset classes, overseeing the firm’s Value and Income fund portfolios, and supporting the growth and development of its investment teams. He is also a voting member of the firm’s Investment Review Committee. Mr. Toback became a partner of the firm in 2020 and previously served in portfolio management and investment roles. He has particular experience with investments in dislocated industries and corporate special situations, including leading the firm’s renewables and commodity shipping strategies. Prior to joining Castlelake, Mr. Toback was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for transportation structured financings, focusing on the aviation and shipping industries. Mr. Toback received his B.A. in economics from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Toback speaks conversational Spanish.

    Carl Goldsmith is the Co-Founder, Co-Chairman, and Co-CEO of Beach Point Capital Management LP. Bringing over 30 years of investing experience in the credit markets, Mr. Goldsmith has managed portfolios across high yield bonds, bank loans, and distressed debt, while leading restructurings for companies in financial distress. Prior to founding Beach Point Capital, Mr. Goldsmith co-led the multi-billion dollar alternative credit business at Post Advisory Group. In the early 1990s, Mr. Goldsmith worked in the Bankruptcy Support and Valuation departments at Price Waterhouse, where he advised debtors and creditors in bankruptcy restructurings. Mr. Goldsmith received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from UCLA Law School.
