Ian is an experienced retail banking executive who has developed a portfolio career combining various advisory, interim management and non-executive roles.

A trained and qualified banker, Ian spent much of his career with Royal Bank of Scotland latterly as Director Credit, Retail Banking. Subsequent executive roles include Managing Director Business Banking, Santander UK, Chief Risk Officer, GE Money UK, Chief Risk Officer, Tesco Bank and Strategic Risk Director Virgin Money.

More recently, Ian has acted as executive Chief Risk Officer for both Charter Court Financial Services and Monzo Bank in each case helping the business obtain a banking licence and establish a robust risk management framework. Ian is currently supporting a number of Fintech start-ups in the UK and Europe as well as holding non-executive director roles with a specialist mortgage lender and a building society.

Ian is a Chartered Banker and holds an MBA from Edinburgh and an MSc in Marketing from Napier University. Ian is a Fellow and former Vice President of the Institute of Bankers in Scotland and a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Services.

Hanna Sarraf is a senior risk management executive with over 25 years of experience, blending expertise in both traditional banking and digital, technology-enabled financial institutions. He is currently the Chief Risk Officer at Monzo Europe, having previously served as Chief Risk Officer at Starling International, Group Chief Risk Officer at Bankmed and Head of Risk Strategy at Bank of Ireland Group. In addition to his industry roles, Hanna has held leadership positions in risk and regulatory management consulting at KPMG, Ernst & Young and Accenture, supporting UK and international clients to drive innovation and transformation in the financial services industry.

Hanna holds a Specialised Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from ESSEC Business School and an MSc in Finance from Dauphine University in France. He has authored many articles on financial risk management and is a frequent speaker at leading UK and international conferences.

Adam EnnamliAdam EnnamliChief Risk Officer at General Bank Of Canada

Adam Ennamli is the current Chief Risk Officer at General Bank of Canada, overseeing the evolution and management of all enterprise-wide risks. He leverages over 15 years of risk management, compliance, and operations leadership experience at major financial and technology institutions globally, including Thomson Reuters, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and National Bank of Canada.

In his prior roles, Adam spearheaded the development of risk management, governance and compliance programs driving strategic decision-making and prudent growth. He holds an MBA from HEC Montreal as well as multiple ESG certifications, complementing his expertise across ERM, cyber security, operational resilience, and technology. Adam is recognized for enabling companies to build durable competitive advantages through world-class capabilities.
