Jacques Beyssade has been the Secretary General of Groupe BPCE, the largest non-listed cooperative banking group in Europe, counting 100,000 employees and 35 million customers, since 2018. As such, he is in charge of Legal and Public Affairs, Corporate Governance, Compliance, Security and Permanent Control. He draws his experience from the banking businesses he has been in charge of, over 30 years and on 3 continents, through cycles of boom and bust. A recognised banking expert, he has been a foreign trade advisor to the French government for 20 years. He coauthored with the French economist Cristina Peicuti "Of Banks and Crises", published in 2024 and contributed to "The legacy of the Global Financial Crisis" published in 2021.

Rosaline Laverley is currently the Chief Risk Officer for Group Functions and Third-Party Risk Management at Standard Chartered Bank (SC😎 across all geographies.

Prior to this, she was the Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Funding Circle Plc, one of the largest SME lending FinTech companies globally with responsibilities for risk management framework, credit quality, model, and operational risk.

Rosaline has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years and has held various senior Risk roles at Morgan Stanley and Bank of America in New York and London.

Rosaline started her career at IBM and holds a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Dalhousie University Canada, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sierra Leone. She’s a frequent speaker on topics such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (panellist on “A Talk on Inclusion Starts with I”), ESG and sustainability.

Amit VoraAmit VoraGlobal Head, Credit and Lending Solutions at CRISIL

Amit Vora is the Global Head of Credit & Lending Solutions at CRISIL (an S&P Global company), based out of London. He manages a portfolio of 30+ global banking clients across the credit value chain spanning credit assessment, portfolio monitoring, lending operations and assurance. He has ~20 years’ experience across credit risk related consulting, services and software solutions. In his earlier roles, Amit led CRISIL’s buy-side practice, where he was responsible for the growth of CRISIL’s private credit franchise and has also advised financial institutions on innovations in infrastructure financing for emerging markets.

Erkka NäsäkkäläErkka NäsäkkäläHead for Group Risk at SEB

Erkka Näsäkkälä is Head for Group Risk since 2017. Group Risk is part of the CRO function, i.e. the independent 2nd line Risk Management function in SEB. Group Risk ensures that all risks inherent in the activities of SEB are identified, assessed, measured, monitored, managed, and reported. Before joining SEB in 2011, Erkka has worked for the Nordic Investment Bank and Depfa plc. He started his banking career as a quantitative Credit risk analyst. He also has experience from several Risk Management and Control positions in the areas of Credit, Market, and Non-Financial risks. Prior to his banking career Erkka worked as a software developer in the Tech industry and as a researcher on electricity derivative markets. Erkka holds a doctoral degree in Engineering Physics and Mathematics from Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland).

Thomas Mennicken began his career as an interest rate derivatives trader at JP Morgan. In 1994, he joined BNP Paribas, leading roles in market activities and Risk Management in Paris and in London, including Global Head of Risk Architecture. In 2009, he became Chief Risk Officer of BNP Paribas Fortis in Brussels before joining Corporate and Institutional Banking (CI😎 in 2014 to head of CIB Corporates Clients, Financing and Advisory for EMEA. Since the end of 2016, he has served as Chief Risk Officer for CIB and Head of RISK CIB and EMEA.

Tanmoy MukherjeeTanmoy MukherjeeManaging Director and Chief Risk Officer at Waterfall Asset Management

Tanmoy is the Chief Risk Officer for Waterfall Asset Management a $12BN Hedge Fund specializing in Structured Credit in both Public and Private Markets. At Waterfall, Tanmoy is responsible for managing both Investment and Non-Investment Risk. Prior to joining Waterfall, Tanmoy was the Head of Risk, North America and Senior Data Scientist at CQS, a $20BN Multi Strategy Credit Hedge Fund based out of US and Europe, where he managed Risk for the Credit Businesses and led Data Science projects for the Investment and Marketing Teams. Before CQS, Tanmoy worked at Axonic Capital, a $5BN Credit Hedge Fund where he was the Chief Risk Officer and the Head of Quantitative Research. Tanmoy has prior work experience at Sorin Capital and at Capital One. Tanmoy received a Master’s in Financial Engineering from Cornell University, an MBA from University of Delhi and a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology.
