Dr. Michiel Haasbroek currently works as Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Executive Board for Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (Suisse). He has lived and worked in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Zurich and Amsterdam and has had professional responsibility for UAE as well. He has been a CRO for over 7 years in Corporate and Private Banking. Originally an expert in the Chinese financial sector, he has regularly presented on topics on matters of China’s financial development and the relation between finance and geopolitics. He holds an MA from Trier University, an MSc from TiasNimbas Business School in the Netherlands, and a PhD in Political Economy of China from Ruhr University Bochum. His research has focussed on banking sector reform and regulation in China.

Mutisunge Zulu is a distinguished economist and strategist, highly regarded for his expertise in banking, strategy, financial analysis, risk management, and economics. A thought leader of his generation, Mutisunge boasts an impressive 18.5-year career spanning South, Eastern, and Central Africa, where he has made significant contributions to the financial sector.
He currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer at ZANACO Plc, Zambia’s largest bank by asset size. In this role, he leverages his extensive experience in market analysis, financial and non-financial risk, investment banking, and credit portfolio management, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Prior to this, he held senior positions within the Standard Bank Group, where he excelled in managing complex financial portfolios and risk assessments.
Mutisunge is a Harvard University alumnus, having completed the prestigious Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School. He also holds the prestigious certificate in risk governance by the Directors and Chief Risk Officers Institute (DCROI). Mutisunge is a Global Executive MBA scholar at the Alliance Manchester Business School and a member of the Global Association of Risk Practitioners (GARP).
Complementing his robust academic background, Mutisunge has pursued executive education at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, focusing on Leading Sustainable Corporations. He also serves on the Risk and Operations Committee of the Zambia Electronic Clearing House Ltd.

Roxana Branowski is a seasoned risk management executive with extensive experience across enterprise, strategic, operational risk and resilience in both private and public sectors. She recently joined the IMF as a Senior Risk Advisor. In her last role as the Deputy Chief Risk Officer at Payments Canada she successfully led a significant transformation and comprehensive relaunch of risk management framework and tools. She is known for delivering integrated risk solutions that provide business value, cultivate risk-conscious assessments and decision making into the organizational culture, while meeting enterprise and regulatory expectations. Previously, Roxana spent close to 10 years at BMO Bank, where she started as a quant SME supporting the Basel III operational risk model implementation, quickly moved into several leadership roles under risk methodology and governance group where she led the development of the Operational risk scenario program globally, and led the stress testing modeling and program management with focus on the CCAR exams in the US. Roxana is a skilled people leader, known for building high performing teams and cultivating a culture based on key values of integrity, empathy and helping the team deliver success. Roxana holds an Applied Mathematics in Economics and Finance degree from the University of Toronto in Canada.
