Alessandro SilvestroAlessandro SilvestroManaging Director, Asia Pacific at Lemanik Asset Management S.A.

Alessandro Silvestro is Lemanik Managing Director for Asia Pacific since 2018. Based in Hong Kong he is a member of the company's Global Strategic Committee. Graduated with a Master degree in Law (LLM), Alessandro brings more than two decades of international experience in the investment fund industry. Over the course of his career, he has developed Operational, Distribution and Relationship Management expertise in both Europe and Asia.

Before joining Lemanik, Alessandro lead the Insurance Sales team in Asia for Standard Chartered Hong Kong and held various senior positions with RBC Investor Services in Luxembourg, Milan and Hong Kong where he was a Member of the Management Committee.

Alessandro is a regular speaker in funds international conferences, an active member in several key funds associations and Board member in several investment funds.

Tod TraboccoTod TraboccoManaging Director at Aksia

Tod is a Managing Director on the Investment Research team and has over 25 years of industry experience. He is actively involved throughout the investment process including sourcing, screening and evaluating private credit primary, secondary, co-investment and SMA investments. Tod also works with the Portfolio Advisory team and Aksia’s global institutional clients on portfolio strategy and construction and related investment advisory activities.

Prior to joining Aksia in 2022, Tod was the Head of Product and Strategy at Industrial Transportation Equipment Management (“ITE”), where he assisted existing and prospective limited partners in underwriting and monitoring ITE’s niche transportation asset offerings and designed bespoke co-investment vehicles for some ITE’s largest clients. Before that, he led Private Credit manager research and selection globally at Cambridge Associates, working with advisory clients in launching, developing and monitoring private credit programs. In addition, he chaired the firm’s Credit Investment Committee. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Tod worked at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors and LBC Credit Partners (acquired by CIFC), a credit opportunities/direct lending fund where he led underwriting for almost a decade and sat on the firm’s Investment Committee. Tod started his career at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Tod graduated from Pomona College with a BA in Government and holds a MALD in Development Economics from The Fletcher School, Tufts University and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia Business School. He is a CFA charterholder.

Emma OoiEmma OoiManaging Director, Development & Solutions at Azalea Investment Management, wholly owned subsidiary of Seviora Group

Ms Emma OOI joined the Azalea Group in 2015. The Azalea Group invests in PE funds, with a focus on the development and innovation of new investment platforms and products to make PE accessible to a broader group of investors. Azalea is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seviora Group, and indirectly owned by Temasek Holdings.

Ms Ooi leads the team at Azalea innovating and developing new products and solutions, including the STEP Portal. The STEP Portal is Azalea’s proprietary digital platform that allows individual investors to access quality private asset investment opportunities.Previously, Ms Ooi was at Pavilion Capital where she was responsible for China private equity fund investments and direct co-investments and setting up the portfolio management systems. Before Pavilion Capital, she was with Temasek’s China investment team where she covered private equity fund investment and direct investments in China. She first joined Temasek in 2006, and was part of the team that started Temasek’s operations in Shanghai and developed strategic relationships to establish Temasek’s footprint in the region.

Ms Ooi holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from INSEAD.

Charles RuffelCharles RuffelFounder, Chairman & Managing Partner at Kudu Investment Management

Charlie Ruffel is founder, chairman and managing partner of Kudu Investment Management, an independent New York City-based investment company that takes minority stakes in boutique asset and wealth management firms at the GP level. As of August 2023, Kudu has deployed approximately US $857M in 25 asset and wealth managers worldwide, which collectively represent US $94B in AUM. Prior to co-founding Kudu in 2015, Charlie was founder and managing partner of Kudu Advisors, an asset management-focused investment bank.

Before that he was the founder and CEO of Asset International, Inc., a publisher and information service provider to the retirement, asset management, and securities services industries. There he founded PLANSPONSOR, Global Custodian, and Chief Investment Officer magazines and related media. He holds an MA from Cambridge University and an MS from Columbia University
