    Project Manager, School District Environmental Health at U.S. Green Building Council
    Hannah is the Project Manager for School District Environmental Health within the Center for Green Schools at USGBC where she supports school district staff working to improve air quality and create healthy schools across the country. Prior to joining the Center for Green Schools, Hannah was the Sustainability Coordinator at Parkway School District in St. Louis, Missouri where she led the district's comprehensive energy management program, renewable energy systems, district-wide recycling and composting, and water conservation efforts. She also oversaw a successful student and staff engagement program as well as the integration of sustainability standards and resources into all elementary curriculum. During her time at Parkway, the district was awarded the Green Ribbon School District award (2020), Energy Star Partner of the Year award (2020 & 2021), and was a 2020 DOE Better Buildings Challenge Goal Achiever for achieving 25% energy reduction within 5 years.

    Ricciano Liberali is a Partner and COO of Petinelli Inc., Brazil’s leading green building engineering firm, where he has spearheaded the company’s most innovative projects, including the world’s first LEED Zero Energy and LEED Zero Water certified buildings. Under his leadership, Petinelli Inc. became a Signatory of the WorldGBC’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment in 2019. Ricciano is a licensed mechanical engineer with 12 years of experience, as well as a LEED AP, ASHRAE BEMP, Fitwel Ambassador and EDGE Expert. He has served as sustainability consultant on over 120 LEED projects, including the World’s 3rd highest scoring LEED certification (104 points). He currently oversees all of Petinelli Inc.’s operations and leads a multidisciplinary team of 80+ professionals who are responsible for 60% of Brazil’s LEED Platinum certified buildings, and over half of all projects pursuing WELL in the country.

    Janera Soerel advises global real estate owners, developers, and operators on the best ways to embark on the WELL journey and achieve optimal health and wellbeing for their communities. She provides her clients with Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) solutions through WELL to meet their goals and reporting requirements. Additionally, she gives strategic direction to the development of the LATAM and Multifamily markets, the execution of sector specific marketing campaigns, and the distribution of WELL thought-leadership. Before joining IWBI, Janera was VP of Business Development and Client Management at BetterSpaces, a tenant amenities and workplace wellbeing technology company. Her interest in the wellness space was sparked as the Program Director at Urban Zen, Donna Karan’s foundation. Janera started her career in corporate finance at ABN AMRO in Amsterdam (NL) and Milan (IT). She has an MBA from Columbia Business School and is fluent in English, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish.
