Tuomas is an experienced economist with a proven track record in managing projects across different sectors and countries. He helps public and private sector clients in competition cases, regulatory design, mergers and acquisitions as well as impact assessments and damages cases. Tuomas has particular expertise in the health sector as well as media, tech and regulated industries.
Before joining Copenhagen Economics, Tuomas spent 11 years in the UK having first worked on telecoms regulation in Finland. Most recently, Tuomas worked as an Economics Director for the National Health Service in London where he was responsible for various portfolios of economic analysis across the health sector. Prior to that, he worked as Senior Consultant for Oxera.
Niels Christian Ersbøll is a partner in the EU Antitrust practice, chair of the European Competition practice, and head of the Brussels office. He mainly advises clients on EU competition law in relation to merger control, cartels and restrictive practices, and abuse of dominance, where he has more two decades’ experience. Niels has also significant expertise in advising clients on EU sanctions and export control matters.
