Mike is an Associate at DIGSAU with more than 15 years of experience on technically complex projects across a variety of sectors, from labs and life sciences to education and multi-family. Driven by an emphasis on research, construction methods and technology, Mike finds creative opportunities in project constraints and is committed to careful execution of a project vision throughout the entire arc of a project. At DIGSAU, Mike co-chairs the Technical Working Group, with a special focus on building envelope performance.

Arvinder Dang, Associate Principal at dbHMS, is a senior leader with 20+ years of professional and research experience in energy efficient, high performance building design and operation, as well as environmentally sustainable urban communities. As a project manager and sustainability lead, she works across multiple disciplines—architecture, MEP, and urban planning—integrating and delivering efficient technologies, systems and solutions for projects. She has worked on numerous large scale institutional, high-rise mixed-use and master plan developments both in the US and internationally. Arvinder’s knowledge and expertise (both domestic and international) in building energy, life cycle cost_x000D_ assessment, and daylight responsive design contributes to her track record of award-winning designs with demonstrated reduction in operating energy consumption, and better indoor environmental quality.

Kara Medow is a Senior Design and Construction Project Manager with the City of Philadelphia Rebuild Initiative. x000D x000D Kara has 20 years of experience working on cost-effective solutions for high-performance buildings. Prior to Rebuild, Kara managed numerous market-rate and low-income mixed-use and multi-family housing projects which received Energy Star, LEED and NetZero certification, as well as AIA COTE Top Ten recognition. At Rebuild, Kara works in partnership with the City of Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation, as well as other City agencies and elected officials to ensure projects meet municipal goals for building and site sustainability, as well as user-agency goals for programming, maintenance and operations. x000D x000D Rebuild is the City of Philadelphia's historic investment of over $500 million in neighborhood parks, recreation centers, and libraries across Philadelphia.
