Dr Stephen Ginsborg has been a General Practitioner for 50 years. He trained in Cambridge and London and emigrated to Australia about 40 years ago. Stephen is a Board Member of Sydney North Primary Health Network. He also sits on the Board of COTA NSW - Council on the Ageing NSW, and on the ACI Executive Committee for End of Life and Palliative Care. He has worked with Groundswell to bring the Compassionate Communities model of care to Australia. He is passionate about partnering with community, and co creating Public Health strategies to shift the paradigm of an over medicalized model of Primary Care. He sees this as an avenue to further develop equity and sustainability.
