Anna joined St Vincent’s in 2018 and has held Executive roles in strategy, planning & business development across both St Vincent’s Public Hospital in Melbourne and more recently at St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney. Prior to joining St Vincent’s Anna held senior clinical operational roles at Austin Health in Victoria. Anna has over 20 years’ experience in the health sector in both strategy and clinical operations and is proud to lead the St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney Team in providing the best patient outcomes and experiences for our community.

Shona Blair has a held executive and strategy focused positions particularly within the university and hospital sectors of Australia and the UK. Shona is the inaugural Director of the St Vincent’s Sydney Health Innovation Precinct (SVSHIP) - where the primary partners include St Vincent’s Sydney Hospital, Private Hospital and Clinic, the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, as well as university partners including UNSW Sydney. Here she is the first person whose “day job” it is to focus on helping the organisations to make even more of their shared history, proximity, research strengths and visions for the future. Before returning to Australia for this role, Shona was based in the UK and was the Head of Research Strategy at Imperial College London. There she was involved in winning large, complex, multiparty bids, and successfully establishing new partnerships. Although research has not been the primary focus of her career, Shona still collaborates with colleagues in her areas of academic expertise and continues to provide advice to apicultural and agricultural industries. Shona holds a PhD in microbiology and is an adjunct associate professor at UNSW Sydney.
