Prior to founding Mercia, his wide-ranging sales and marketing experience encompassed public and private markets fixed income, equities, and alternatives for the respective fund management businesses of Hill Samuel, Barings, Rothschild and Credit Agricole/Amundi and as an adviser to Arbour Partners and its GP clients. He has been allocating capital to the private credit space for over 3 years, building diversified portfolios on behalf of institutional investors across the full spectrum of available strategies. Prior to joining AltamarCAM Partners in 2021 Kristof was an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Cazenove in London for over a decade, focussing on M&A advisory and capital market transactions for publicly listed as well as private property companies/REITs. Kristof started his career at Lehman Brothers’ investment banking division in London in 2007. He has studied Financial Economics at Maastricht University and the University of California at Berkeley and holds an MPhil in Economic and Financial Research.

Prior to Pluto, Robert was in a similar role for eight years at Stirling Square Capital Partners, a pan-European private equity firm, delivering the final close of their Fund II and the entire Fund III. Prior to that, Robert was a Managing Director in the investment bank at HSBC, having worked in both structured and infrastructure finance over a twenty-year career at the bank.

    George is a Managing Director at ARA Europe and the Head of Origination for the firm’s European commercial real estate debt strategy. George joined ARA Europe in 2014, shortly after inception of the firm’s commercial real estate debt activities in 2013. Since then, George and the team have deployed more than €4.0bn in commercial real estate loans over 90+ transactions across Western Europe, supporting core, value add and opportunistic business plans across all real estate asset classes via senior, whole loan and mezzanine deal formats, with zero realised losses. ARA Europe’s commercial real estate debt strategy is funded through a series of discretionary fund vehicles and other institutional managed accounts.
