    Mesh is an expert in advocating for energy market, policy and regulatory changes. With over fifteen years of experience in the energy sector Mesh has extensive knowledge of the law and the energy market regulatory framework. In her role as GM Networks Regulation & Connections at Iberdrola Australia Networks Mesh supports and educates the team about energy regulations and the connections process. She also provides responses, on behalf of Iberdrola Australia Networks on various changes to energy regulations. Prior to her time at Iberdrola Australia Network Mesh helped customers navigate the electricity connections process at Lumea and Transgrid as the Director of Connection Services. In this role Mesh managed over 80 connections projects and in a four-year period registered 36 large scale solar, wind and battery projects which contributed to the transition to renewables by adding over 4.75GWs of renewable output into the National Electricity Market. In 2022 Mesh was awarded the Clean Energy Council’s 2022 Chloe Munro Scholarship for Transformational Leadership where she was provided with funding to complete the Women in Leadership’s Executive Ready course. Mesh recently completed this course. Prior to her time at Lumea, Mesh was the Markets Contracts Manager for Jemena, where she managed Jemena’s commercial obligations under its Access Arrangement and represented Jemena Gas Networks at industry forums and she also worked Regulatory Analyst for the Australian Energy Market Operator, where she ran and was the secretariat for gas distribution and wholesale market industry forums.
