planet and by 2050, there's going to be almost 10 billion of us.

Two billion of that 10 billion by 2050 are going to be people
over the age of 60 and an aging population is especially affected

Nonetheless, the fact that the population is growing unfortunately is
not our only challenge also growing, is the temperature of our planet.

We're heating up the planet and causing beautiful
glaciers like this one to melt, forever.

The average surface temperature of our planet has risen
over one, almost two degrees, 1.62 degrees fahrenheit.

I want to say since the late 19th century and it's quite scarily,
most of that warming has just occurred in the past 35 years.

Driven by things like increased carbon dioxide and
other human made emissions, into the atmosphere.

and it makes it much more difficult to feed that growing broad
population farmers are particularly impacted by extreme weather

conditions, which include drought, severe heat, flooding also
agriculture on the conservation of our most precious natural

And that's why every investment in innovation
also needs to be an investment in sustainability.
