Phil Mumford is one of Queensland’s most experienced transport and infrastructure leaders, involved in the successful construction and operation of light rail and toll roads, and the operation of major seaports. Phil has led the delivery of two of the state’s most significant transport projects including:
• Brisbane’s Gateway Motorway Duplication
• Gold Coast Light Rail Stages 1 and 2, and now 3.
Phil is an experienced leader of organisations and people, and has forged a reputation as an exceptional problem solver and influencer.
Phil heads up GoldlinQ, a role he has had for 12 years. He is responsible for the delivery and operation of Stages 1 and 2 of the Gold Coast Light Rail, and design and construction of Stage 3 from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, which is underway and due to be complete by 2025
