Dr Nisha Khot is the current clinical director of obstetrics and gynaecology at Peninsula Health in Melbourne. She trained in India and the UK before moving to Australia. In addition to being a Vice President and Board member of RANZCOG, she also holds board positions with Rural Doctors Association of Victoria (RDAV), and the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health (MCWH). She chairs the Subspecialists Committee and is an examiner for both Fellowship and Advanced Diploma examinations.
She is passionate about simulation based education in high resource as well as low resource settings. Dr Khot is a member of the Gandel Simulation Service at RWH and a PROMPT T3 trainer. She is an educator with the ONE-Sim program that runs simulation based training in rural Indian maternity units. Dr Khot is a passionate advocate for equitable and diverse representation in healthcare leadership, sexual and reproductive rights of women and equitable access to healthcare & health literacy for migrant and refugee women.
