Mr. Hammer is a Senior Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Secondaries at Manulife Investment Management. He has more than three decades of experience in principal investing, investment banking, and building businesses in the private markets. He spent the past ten years as Co-Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Illiquid Financial Assets practice, a unit he co-founded and built into the leading investment banking group focused on customized transactions for holders of illiquid securities. Mr. Hammer was previously a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co., where he. founded, built and co-led Private Equity Advisors, the private equity fund-of-funds and secondary investing unit of Bear Stearns Asset Management. In this position, Mr. Hammer developed and managed several secondary-focused private equity investment management programs that had an aggregate AUM over $2b. Mr. Hammer also served as the Global Head of Origination for the Private Funds Group upon its acquisition into Bear Stearns Asset Management. Mr. Hammer co-founded BDC Financial Inc., a firm that provided customized private equity investment management and advisory services to institutional and high-net-worth investors, which was sold to Bear Stearns. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hammer held investment banking positions at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Hammer received an A.B. from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Marco is CEO and Managing Partner and co-founder of Montana Capital Partners AG. Marco was previously co-head of the private equity secondary activities at Capital Dynamics, a global asset management firm. In this position he was responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing secondary transactions on a global basis. In addition, he led primary investment activities in selected geographies. Prior to that, he worked for Munich Re Group as a private equity investment manager and helped in building up the firm’s private equity investment program. Previously, Marco was with Montagu Private Equity, a pan-European mid-market buyout firm focusing on direct transactions. He started his career in M&A Advisory for L.E.K. mainly advising private equity General Partners on buyout transactions. Marco holds a MSc and a Dr. rer. pol. and studied at the London School of Economics, the University of Cologne and the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

André Aubert (Swiss) is a Partner and Co-head of Secondaries at LGT Capital Partners Ltd. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Mr. Aubert was a Principal at Index Ventures, a pan-European venture capital firm, which he joined in 1999. At Index Mr. Aubert focused on investment opportunities in the communications, semiconductor and embedded software sectors. Prior to joining Index, Mr. Aubert worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in the Zurich and Geneva offices, primarily in the telecommunications and banking sectors. Before that, he worked as a research assistant in the telecom laboratory of the University of Tokyo in Japan. He holds an MSc in Telecom Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from INSEAD. He is fluent in English, French and German.

Yann Robard is Managing Partner at Whitehorse Liquidity Partners and has over 21 years of private equity experience. Established in 2015, Whitehorse Liquidity Partners is a private equity manager dedicated to providing structured liquidity solutions to the alternative asset class. Whitehorse Liquidity Partners consists of over 110 professionals and has over US$10 billion in commitments under management. Whitehorse Liquidity Partners has completed over 150 transactions consisting of over US$14 billion in total transaction size. Prior to founding Whitehorse Liquidity Partners, Yann spent 13 years at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, most recently as Managing Director, Head of Secondaries and Co-Investments.

Charles Bridgeland is a Partner of Lexington Partners based in the London office. He is part of Lexington’s European secondaries investment team and is also involved in the firm’s EMEA investor relations coverage. Prior to joining Lexington in 2010, Mr. Bridgeland worked in private equity at 3i as well as in the UK M&A teams of Citigroup and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. He was educated at the University of Oxford (MA Hons) and the University of Bath (MSc)

Ross Hamilton is part of the Private Equity Partnership Investments business unit, based in London. He is a member of the Private Equity Integrated Investment Committee and the Private Equity Direct Co-Investment Committees. He has been with Partners Group since 2014 and has 13 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, he worked at BGF Investments and Standard Life Investments. He holds a master’s degree from Strathclyde Business School, UK. He is also a certified public accountant.
