    Alex Koriath

    Partner, Head of European Pensions Practice at Cambridge Associates PROFILE Alex is the Head of European Pensions at Cambridge Associates (CA) and splits his time between the UK and Germany. He is responsible for CA’s portfolio management services for pension fund and insurance clients across Europe. Alex oversees a team of Investment Directors who act as the Outsourced Chief Investment Office on strategy, risk management, manager selection and implementation, and takes on the role of lead Investment Director with a number of clients. He has vast experience incorporating private and alternatives investment strategies into pension schemes’ asset allocation. Prior to joining CA, Alex served as a Head of Manager Research in KPMG’s investment advisory team and gained investment experience at Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow and Allianz. Alex is a part-time teacher of Finance at the London School of Economics. He is also Chair of the Structured Learning Working Group of the CFA Society UK, and sits on its Exams and Education Committee.

    Anne Fossemalle has been the Director in charge of Funds’ investments at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) since 2009. She has over 25 years of private equity experience and holds numerous LPAC seats with major fund managers within the EBRD’s countries of operations. Anne also represents EBRD and its countries of operations in major industry bodies: as Member of the Board of Directors and Past Chair of Invest Europe, the European private equity association and the world’s largest association of capital providers; as former Member of the Board of Directors of the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA), the global association for institutional investors; and as CEE & CIS Council Chair Director for the Global Private Capital Association (GPCA), formerly EMPEA. Anne joined the EBRD in 1993 from Natixis in Paris, and has worked in a number of capacities prior to heading the Funds’ investment team, notably leading EBRD’s debt and direct equity investments into financial institutions. Anne holds Masters degrees from Stanford University, Ecole Nationale du Génie Rural, des Eaux et des Forêts (France) and Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon (France). She was selected as one of ten Women of Influence in Private Equity by Private Equity International in 2022.

    Dr. Christoph Gort is a founding partner at SIGLO Capital Advisors AG. SIGLO advises institutional investors in Switzerland on alternative investments including insurance-linked strategies (“ILS”), private debt, drawdown management and impact investing in private markets. SIGLO was founded in 2010, is FINMA regulated and has approx. USD 3bn AuM/AuA. Before co-founding SIGLO, Christoph was the Head of Fund of Hedge Funds Research at Harcourt Investment Consulting AG. He started his career at the City of Zurich Pension Fund in 2003, covering active and alternative investment strategies. He has published various academic papers and articles in the areas of overconfidence, active management, alternative investments and pension funds.

    Persefoni Noulika is a senior investment professional at BlackRock Private Equity Partners (PEP) group focusing on private equity opportunities across the European market in a variety of different sectors. In addition, Persefoni leads impact investing and ESG implementation for PEP in Europe. Previously, she worked at Pala Investments, focusing on the origination, execution and monitoring of direct private equity investments in the mining and natural resources sectors. Prior to joining Pala Investments, Persefoni worked at UBS Investment Bank in London where she was primarily involved in the execution of a number of M&A transactions in South Eastern Europe and the Middle East and subsequently, coverage and advisory of the bank's natural resources clients as part of the Global Industrials Group. Persefoni holds a MSc Economics from the London School of Economics and MA (hons) in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.
