The Honourable Dale Last MP is the Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing, and Regional and Rural Development. Born and raised in regional Queensland, Dale has a family background in the sugar and cattle industries. He spent over 30 years as a police officer before entering local government. He is no stranger to the Resources sector, having held the position of Shadow Minister for Natural Resources and Mines from December 2023 – October 2024, as well as holding several other Shadow Ministry positions since his election in 2015.
