  • Sarah Jefford OAM (she/her) is a surrogacy and donor conception lawyer practising across Australia from her home in Melbourne. Sarah was an IVF mum, and later became an egg donor and a surrogate, delivering a baby for two dads in 2018. Sarah produced the Australian Surrogacy Podcast, sharing stories from intended parents and surrogates from around Australia, and published a book, More Than Just a Baby, a guide to surrogacy in Australia. Sarah has also published a guide for healthcare professionals supporting surrogacy pregnancy and birth. Sarah was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2023 for her work with the surrogacy community and services to the law.
