Amy Lomas is PwC's Chief Economist and an Energy Transition Partner based in Perth. She specializes in infrastructure development, ports, decarbonisation and major project development. Amy has worked across domestic and export-focused industrial project development and precincts including CCS, hydrogen, ammonia, large-scale renewables, and strategic industrial areas. Amy has over 20 years’ experience in various consulting and public sector roles in WA. She's worked as an economist for ten years in WA Treasury including as Director of economic and revenue forecasting and Ministerial advisor. She is a former Executive Director Strategic Policy at the former WA Department of State Development where she was responsible for a range of State development policies relating to LNG and domestic gas, energy security, economic infrastructure, access arrangements, royalties, and resource development. Amy was the WA rep into the design of the original emissions trading scheme and oversaw the 2015 review of the WA mineral royalty system. Amy recently completed a 6-year term on the board of Pilbara Ports Authority.
