Kate is a health law and policy partner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. She specialises in inquiries, investigations and reviews and also acts for clients in coronial investigations, inquests and other regulatory processes as well as in the defence of medical negligence claims.
Dr. Amelia Bock graduated with honours from Monash University. She then completed her post graduate specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mercy Hospital for Women. Amelia spent her fellowship years at The Royal Women’s Hospital and Box Hill Hospital focusing on gynaecology surgery including laparoscopy. She has undertaken further training through Monash Medical Centre and performs Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy.
Amelia has Consultant positions at Northeast Health Wangaratta and Wangaratta Private Hospital. She is actively involved in teaching and mentoring junior trainees and has a lecturer role at The University of Melbourne.
Amelia aims to provide the highest level of care for her patients. She strongly believes in equality of health care for women in rural areas while ensuring that they are fully informed and involved in the decisions regarding their health.
Away from work, Amelia enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children. She loves reading, quilting, crochet and cycling.
