Gerard is the General Manager for Renewable Energy Zones and Network Infrastructure within the Development & Future Networks team at AusNet. He and his colleagues are focused on the development, tendering, and delivery of new network infrastructure projects in Victoria and New South Wales. Prior to joining AusNet, Gerard worked as Head of Commercial for renewable energy project developer Tilt Renewables, and prior to that as Head of Sales in the Asia Pacific region with leading wind turbine manufacturer Vestas. Over the past 17 years Gerard has been involved in the successful development, financing, and delivery of over 30 renewable energy projects spanning 7 countries.

Joshua Walker is the General Manager of Infrastructure Delivery at Transgrid, he holds a BE in Electrical (Power) Engineering from the University of Sydney. With over 20 years’ experience, Joshua started off as a hands-on electrician and over time moved into various project roles, he is now responsible for the engineering design, development and delivery of Transgrid’s capital program. This includes the field teams who manage project sites, commissioning and energisation of new and refurbished assets, including new grid connections.
