Voni Leighton, RN, MACN, is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Vitalis Health, Australia’s largest independent Hospital in the Home (HITH) provider. Voni serves on the Board of the HITH Society, Australasia, and is an advisor to the New South Wales Government Healthy Taskforce on Ageing. Voni received her clinical training in Scotland before moving to London in the late 1980s and specialising in ICU nursing. She relocated to Australia 33 years ago and has gone on to hold a number of clinical leadership roles. Voni co-founded Vitalis Health in 2015. To date, Vitalis has helped over 50,000 patients

Sarah McRae is the Chief Executive Officer at Calvary Amplar Health Joint Venture, where she has overseen the full accreditation of their Virtual Hospital, against NSQHS Standards as one of the first in Australia. She is an known Executive in Health, and was the Executive of Strategy at the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network and Chief Operating Officer at Women’s and Children’s Health Network, prior to moving into the private sector. She has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills in healthcare settings. Sarah is known as a change champion and has successfully led large-scale strategic, operational and financial improvements to deliver new and innovative initiatives. Her experience working in both public and private healthcare sectors enables her to successfully navigate the current eco-system of health care.

Dr. Joanna Lawrence is a Consultant Paediatrician and esteemed researcher renowned for her pioneering contributions to pediatric healthcare at the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne.
With a wealth of expertise in hospital-at-home models and virtual care provision, Dr. Lawrence serves as the Pediatric Clinical Lead for the Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED).


Chenyao (Jerry) Yu serves as the General Manager of Virtual Care and Hospital in the Home Services at Northern Sydney Local Health District. With a broad spectrum of experience in various Local Health Districts, including Inpatient, Hospital in the Home, Community, and Healthcare Improvement, Jerry is known for his innovative approach and strategic development. His work consistently surpasses the expectations of the community, the Board, and the Ministry of Health, focusing on meaningful transformations and sustainable healthcare outcomes. In his role, Jerry is tasked with the executive management of both administration and operations within his sector. He is a driving force in future-proofing Virtual Care models, employing sustainable and creative strategies. His decision-making is anchored in data, evidence, and stakeholder engagement. Jerry's leadership is pivotal in enhancing the Virtual Care Strategy, ensuring effective implementation, and fostering better-connected care through technology and integrated care models.
