Cathy has worked for over 35 years in the public and private health sectors in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She has held a wide range of clinical, operational and senior managerial roles, focusing on evidence-based outcomes, efficiency, productivity and funding. Cathy is currently the Group Director for Health Funding and Patient Services with the prestigious and iconic Cabrini Health who provide acute, sub-acute and mental health hospital services in Victoria. Previously, Cathy held the national role of General Manager – Health Funding, Strategy and Performance at Australia's largest not-for-profit private/public hospital operator, St John of God Health Care. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a former Grant Assessor for the Medical Research Future Fund and until recently was a member of the Commonwealth Prostheses Listing Advisory Committee. Cathy has previously served as a non-executive director of a not-for-profit organisation for children with special needs for 10 years, and now, as a self-professed ‘data junkie’, is privileged to be a non-executive director for the Australian Institute of Health & Welfare where she also chairs the Risk, Audit & Finance Committee
