Frédéric DeybachFrédéric DeybachLNG Innovation & Digital Officer at Total Energies

Frédéric is a Naval Architect with degrees from both France’s ENSIETA (now ENSTA Bretagne) and USA’s MIT.

After a few years in French Navy Surface Ship Design Office, now part of Naval Group, on the design of The Aircraft Carrier and several other vessels, he joined GTT (designer and licensor of membrane cargo containment system) in 1998 were he hold several managing positions in Commercial and Engineering.

He moved to ENGIE in 2011 and became Business Developer in the LNG Division. He focused on small scale prospects and joined in 2016 the corporate Small Scale LNG Key Program to develop new tools and new offers, focusing in particular on LNG2Power, distribution to islands and Liquefied Bio Gas.

After the acquisition of the LNG Division by TOTAL, now TotalEnergies, in 2018 he joined the LNG Shipping Department where, as Senior Project Manager, he provided technical expertise on several projects, pursued the assessment of LNG2Power solutions and launched Wind Assisted Ship Propulsion (WASP) assessment studies.

In 2020 he became Innovation Officer for the LNG Division, adding Digital in 2021.

Constance joined T&E's shipping team as a campaigner in June 2022 to work on LNG and biofuels. Before T&E, she worked for three years and half at POLITICO Europe where she was in charge of the programming and organisation of all the summits. Prior to that, she was a security analyst for a London-based consultancy Crisis24 where she was assessing security risks affecting the maritime sector.

She started her career as a research associate in peace processes at the Graduate Institute Geneva in Switzerland and studied in the UK where she obtained a BA in international relations and MSc in conflict studies. Outside of work, Constance is an aspiring yogi, a keen swimmer, and a big fan of fiction books.

Michael SchachMichael SchachCo-founder and CEO at Calypso Commodities

Michael Schach is the co-founder and CEO at the AI-tech company Calypso Commodities. Calypso's X-LNG scheduling & shipping optimisation software is used by shipping and ops desks to schedule vessels, optimise LNG operations and save GHG emissions. Michael has over 10 years of experience in the energy sector with roles in consulting, trading, and operations. His area of expertise covers LNG, gas, power, and hydrogen markets. Michael studied at the University of Oxford and RWTH Aachen University and holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and Energy Economics.

Stuart NeilStuart NeilDirector of Strategy and Communications at International Chamber of Shipping

Stuart Neil is the Director of Strategy and Communications for the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) where he leads engagement with, energy ministries, industry sectors, communications and helps guide the decarbonisation agenda of the ICS Secretariat based in London.

Stuart began his career in the British Foreign Service before moving to the private sector advising governments and international businesses on communication and engagement strategies. Stuart spent 9 years as a Press Secretary to Queen Elizabeth II before moving to the energy sector. He was a Senior Director at the World Energy Council and later became the senior advisor to the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General for Sustainable Energy.
