John’s passionate team at NTRO develop standards through applied research to make a difference in transport user safety, and better transport infrastructure delivery outcomes nationally.

Naomi DickinsonNaomi DickinsonChief Technology Leader - Rail, Safer Smarter Infrastructure at NTRO | ACRI

Naomi is the Chief Technology Leader – Rail, Safer Smarter Infrastructure at the National Transport Research Organisation. She holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, and a Master of Energy Systems. She is the Chair of the Electrical College of Victoria (Engineers Australia). She has recently conducted research with RMIT, where she reviewed the legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to electric vehicles in Victoria. Prior to this, Naomi led multi-national and multi-disciplinary teams at the general manager level to successfully deliver major international roiling stock projects. She honed her design, manufacture, and delivery expertise across the world and successfully delivered the low floor D-Class tram fleet to Melbourne. She is passionate about transport projects being well delivered and for them to meet their intended purpose to serve our community. She likes to foster transparency in projects and implement strategies to guide the project team, users, and other stakeholders through complex situations as they arise for successful outcomes to be reached. She is excited to work with NTRO and Transport sector participants to build a sustainable and well-integrated transport system.
