The team identifies and evaluates important trends within emerging technologies and explores these in practice. Insights built through dialogue internally and externally, as well as from field experience, are used to drive, inspire and challenge the organisation to become more innovative and focus on the opportunities and challenges that come with the bank’s digitalisation journey. Focus areas are understanding changes in customer behaviour and business models following trends in emerging technologies. Adam Lowe is the Chief Product & Innovation Officer at CompoSecure. From the government labs in the defense department to the burgeoning blockchain technology market, Dr. Lowe has been on the cutting-edge of innovation. He created Arculus®, a digital security platform giving people control of their digital assets and identities. He leads a team of engineers and technicians responsible for product innovation and development, process innovation, and prototype design. He also serves as the technical lead, curating and expanding CompoSecure’s extensive patent portfolio.

Prior to CompoSecure, he held a research development role at SRC Inc., a not-for-profit R&D company supporting the US defense and intelligence communities. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University where he researched bio-nanotechnology and a BS in Microbiology from Salisbury University. He has published in many peer reviewed journals, authored technical book chapters, and is listed as an inventor on over 400 patents and patents pending.

Currently he is leading ING’s Tech strategy and transformation to establish a global scalable tech platform that enables the delivery of superior customer experiences and connects to other platforms in the ecosystem. In addition to his work at ING, he is closely associated with London Business School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a lecturer on strategy, digital transformation and agility and involved with several Start-ups and Charities
