    Fola Fagbule is a banker and investment professional focused on infrastructure in Africa. He currently serves as a Deputy Director and Head of Financial Advisory with overall responsibility for mergers, acquisitions, capital raising and other technical advisory assignments at the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC). His work revolves around large infrastructure projects, companies, and investments across Africa. AFC is a US$10bn infrastructure financier working across nearly 35 countries in Africa. Fola has worked at AFC in various roles for nearly a decade and is currently focused mainly on leading the delivery of advice to various clients including governments, private funds, large corporates, private developers, state-owned entities and central banks. Fola also serves as a non-Executive Director representing AFC on the Board of Anergi Holdings Limited, a leading diversified energy business operating in several African countries. Prior to AFC, Fola worked as an investment banker at Afrinvest, a London and Lagos based securities firm. At Afrinvest he focused originally on mergers, acquisitions and capital raising; then subsequently led the investment research department. Fola has received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and prior to that a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.

    Diana is an Africa Investment Advisor to the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), responsible for Southern Africa. She is a senior investment professional with over 13 years’ experience in private equity, mezzanine debt, senior debt and asset management. She is passionate about investments in Sub-Saharan Africa and has a deep knowledge of debt and equity instruments. She has been involved in all aspects of the investment process including deal origination, assessment, structuring, execution, post-transaction monitoring, exits, as well as fundraising. She is a 2010 Rhodes Scholar with an MBA and MSc in African Studies from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Accountancy & Finance from Birmingham City University. She is also a CFA® charterholder and an ACCA fellow.

    Hussein is the Founding Partner of Acre Impact Capital, responsible for strategy, business development, growth and partnerships. Acre Impact Capital invests climate-aligned infrastructure by partnering with leading commercial lenders and Export Credit Agencies. The Firm is supported by The Rockefeller Foundation and GuarantCo a Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) company. Prior to founding Acre Impact Capital, Hussein was the Global Head of Strategy at BNP Paribas CIB, where he helped define the organisation’s sustainable finance strategy. As part of his role at BNP Paribas, Hussein was responsible for managing a portfolio of Strategic Investments worth $350mn, with assets which included market infrastructure companies, minority stakes in other financial institutions, funds and FinTech companies. Prior to his career in investment banking, Hussein worked for more than 10 years in management consulting with Booz Allen, advising clients in financial services and in the public sector on their most complex strategic issues. Hussein lived in Paris, London and Johannesburg and advised clients across the African continent. Hussein holds a Master’s in Business Administration from New York University's Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. Hussein completed the Prince of Wales’s Business and Sustainability Programme at the University of Cambridge.
