SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES | In Program Order mentors practitioners, executives and project managers, facilitates workshops and summits, undertakes evaluation and provides strategic advice. As a Master Trainer for IAP2 Max co-designed and facilitated two training academies in 2006 and 2008, in Alberta Canada, and Edinburgh, UK respectively. He also co-facilitated Australia’s first Citizens’ Parliament in Old Parliament House, Canberra. In 2020, Max partnered with Susan Carter and Anthony Boxshall to create Authentic Co-design, which offers a self-paced training program and a 90-page guide in co-design. Max has co-authored two books, presented papers at numerous international conferences, and is a regular guest lecturer at The University of Melbourne and the University of Sydney. Max is a Fellow of IAP2, an associate of Collaboration for Impact and a regular collaborator with the Tamarack Institute, Canada (where he delivered training in deliberative engagement processes in 5 cities across Canada in 2019).
