Richard von GusoviusRichard von GusoviusPartner & Co-Head of Global Private Credit at Campbell Lutyens

Richard joined Campbell Lutyens in 2006. He is Co-head of Global Private Credit and is also Head of Sales for Europe and the Middle East and a member of the Management Committee.

Richard joined Campbell Lutyens’ secondary practice before taking over responsibility for institutional coverage in the German speaking territories. In 2015, he established Campbell Lutyens’ private credit practice, which is now a recognised leader in its field advising on a range of private credit strategies in North America and Europe.

Prior to joining Campbell Lutyens, Richard worked at GMT Communications Partners and Vision Capital after having worked in M&A at J.P.Morgan and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Switzerland. He graduated from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland with a master’s in finance & accounting.

Mr. Hakkak has served as co-portfolio manager and Investment Committee member of White Oak since 2007. Mr. Hakkak was previously the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Alpine Global, Inc., a multi-strategy investment management firm which focused on alternative fixed income and real estate investments. Mr. Hakkak was also the Founder and Portfolio Manager at Suisse Global Investments, an investment management firm that developed investment strategies customized to meet the risk-adjusted return requirements of bank and insurance clients in over 30 countries. He previously served at Robertson Stephens & Co. as an Investment Banker and Principal in its Investment Company Act platform. Mr. Hakkak has been a co-founder and board member of several institutional platforms that facilitate the distribution of structured investment products, and has served as a limited partner, general partner or board member of various investment funds and companies. Mr. Hakkak received a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and has held Series 7, 63, and 24 designations from FINRA since 1991.

Cécile Mayer-LeviCécile Mayer-LeviHead of Private Debt at Tikehau Capital

Cécile Lévi joined Tikehau Capital in 2013 as Head of Private Debt activity. Cécile previously worked at Ardian (formerly AXA Private Equity) where she notably broadened the investment scope to include unitranche debt, with a strong focus on forming partnerships. She began her career in 1988 at Merrill Lynch (Corporate Finance and M&A) in Paris and then in New York. In 1991, she joined Elig, one of the pioneering private equity funds in France. In 2001, Cécile's focus pivoted to mezzanine debt investments and she was appointed Investment Director at Omnes (formerly CAPE - Mezzanis).

Oliver ThymOliver ThymPartner, Credit at Thoma Bravo

Oliver Thym is a Partner on the Credit team at Thoma Bravo. He joined the firm in 2020 to lead the Thoma Bravo Credit platform and oversee the firm’s credit funds and strategic debt investments. Previously, Oliver spent his entire career at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Partner and Head of Private Credit in the Americas for the Merchant Banking Division. Oliver served on various divisional and firmwide committees, including the Merchant Banking Credit and Corporate Investment Committees and Firmwide New Activity and Credit Policy Committees. He earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business after receiving a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering and a BA in Economics from Cornell University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.

Mark BasileMark BasilePartner, Co-Head of Credit & Capital Markets at Veritas Capital

Prior to Veritas, Mark was a Director at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. ("KKR") where he focused on capital markets transactions and private credit investments across a range of industries. Prior to KKR, Mr. Basile worked at Barclays Capital in both the Leveraged Finance and Restructuring groups, where he focused on a range of M&A and financing transactions. Previously, Mr. Basile was a credit Analyst at Citigroup after spending four years in management and technology consulting. Mr. Basile holds a B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University and an M.A. from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
