Dr. Adwaita is a Senior Specialist in HR for Dubai Water & Electricity Authority (DEWA). Dr. Adwaita has held senior leadership positions within Human Capital Consulting at KPMG and Mercer. He successfully led HR consulting practices across geographies such as India, Middle East and South Africa with P&L responsibilities. Prior to HR Consulting, Adwaita spearheaded International Data Corporation’s India research and was the founding member of an innovative value based business school in Gurgaon.

Dr. Adwaita completed his PhD from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar where his research interests were around Dynamic Capabilities and Strategic Alliances. As a young scholar in 2008, he was among the top 10 emerging researchers in the world identified by Strategic Management Society- and was mentored by late Dr. CK Prahalad. He was nominated as a top HR leader by world’s leading HR media house People Matters & DDI in 2014.

His case study on business model innovation was selected as the best by AIMA & Accenture in 2010. He is also among the top 5 winners of Ram Charan Award for excellence in HR by National HRD Network in India (NHRDN).

His current interests are research in block chain technologies and novel consensus mechanisms. In his spare time Dr. Adwaita teaches – Strategic Decision Making and Business Research methods. He has taught at University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, INSEAD, and IIMs in India.
