Mr. Priston is a Managing Director of Bayside Capital and co-heads the firm's European non-control distressed corporate debt activities. He is involved in all aspects of the investment process from origination and research to structuring and execution.
Mr. Priston has over twenty five years of investment banking and distressed debt experience across a broad range of industries across Europe. Prior to joining Bayside, he was at Strategic Value Partners, a special situations and distressed debt hedge fund, for six years where he was a Managing Director and Head of European trading. Prior to this, he was at Houlihan Lokey, a leading financial restructuring advisory firm, for four years, where he was a Senior Vice President. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, he spent six years working in European mergers and acquisitions at Lazard and Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Priston holds a Bachelor in Science in Economics and Accounting from Bristol University.
Paolo Morrone joined Tikehau Capital’s private debt team in 2016 and since late 2020 he has been leading its direct lending business in the UK. He previously also worked on a number of direct lending transactions across Germany, Spain, Italy, France and the Nordics. Prior to Tikehau Capital, Paolo worked in the leveraged finance team at Mediobanca. He has a Master’s Degree in Finance from Cass Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business from Luiss Guido Carli University, Rome.
Lei is responsible for co-leading the European Credit Opportunities (“ECO”) strategy at Ninety One. He is a member of the ECO Investment Committee and is responsible for portfolio management, transaction origination and team management.
Lei has 20 years of experience in European performing, opportunistic and distressed credit investing and M&A advisory. Prior to joining Ninety One, Lei was a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at Oak Hill Advisors (“OHA”), where he played an instrumental role in the development of the firm’s successful European credit business from 2009 to 2020. In addition to his portfolio management responsibilities, Lei was a member of OHA’s $2.7 billion Strategic Credit Fund investment committee and made important contributions to business development, team expansion and fundraising. Earlier in his career, Lei worked in the leveraged finance team at Merrill Lynch for five years.
Lei is British and Chinese and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Andreas Klein is the Head of the Private Debt platform at Pictet Asset Management, which he joined in 2022. Based in London, he was previously a Managing Director at ICG where he helped set-up and build out the direct lending strategy. Andreas is an MBA graduate of the McCombs business school at the University of Texas at Austin in the US and holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Warwick in the UK.
He is also a holder of the CFA ESG certificate.
