Brandon KotBrandon KotManaging Partner at Canada ICI

Brandon Kot is the Managing Partner and is in his 20th year with the firm. As Managing Partner, Brandon is actively involved in the corporate development of Canada ICI’s national origination and analyst divisions which funds in excess of 8B in loan volume annually, with +7B Assets under administration. He is directly involved with Canada ICI’s corporate strategy and aligning ICI’s vision of becoming Canada’s leading commercial mortgage advisory firm.

Brandon remains at the forefront of the debt markets in tandem with building Canada ICI’s national origination team. Brandon remains active within the community and sits on the board of Trustees for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, which remains among the best children’s hospitals in the country and the most specialized in all of Western Canada.

Eric Slatter, a founding partner of Omada Commercial, brings over 10 years of commercial real estate experience to his clients. He has represented both landlords and tenants in a wide array of real estate transactions, building an impressive foundation of knowledge though his advisory services. A former Vice President with Colliers International, Eric has a long record of successfully guiding local, national and international clients with their commercial real estate acquisitions and lease transactions. Eric specializes in applying his expertise and market knowledge to retail sales and leasing, consistently exceeding the real estate goals of his clients. Through listing and mandate work he collaborates with organizations spanning the private, public, education and non-profit sectors. Eric has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Distinction from the University of Alberta and dedicates his time to organizations such as the Downtown Business Association where he sits on the Business Recruitment Committee.

Jodie WackoJodie WackoChief Operating Officer at Cantiro

In his current role as Chief Operating Officer, Jodie Wacko is responsible for all aspects of Cantiro’ s corporate objectives with a focus on Growth & Aquistions in several key Canadian markets and refining Cantiro’s industry leading People and Culture initiatives. Drawing on his over 25 years of experience on a wide range of development projects in multiple jurisdictions and Provinces, Jodie has earned a thorough understanding of all aspects of building communities. An active member of his profession and community, Jodie served as an elected member of Edmonton’s Urban Development Institute from 2005–2007, past Chair of the UDI Planning Committee (2013 – 2015) as well as several industry and community initiatives, including affordable housing, regionalization and member of the Arterial Road Assessment Steering Committee. Mr. Wacko’s previous roles as a Senior Planner with Strathcona County and Managing Leader of Stantec Edmonton’s Planning and Landscape Architecture Practice have furnished him with insight, foundations and appreciation of different aspects of development. Jodie is also committed to giving back to his community through his involvement as a Committee Member and, 2018 Chair, of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Tee Up for Tots Golf Tournament, Member of the Advisory Committee and guest lecturer - University of Alberta, Faculty of Science Urban and Regional Planning Program and CASA Carnival (in Support of Children’s Mental Health) Committee Member.

Taylor WoolseyTaylor WoolseyChief Operating Officer at York Realty

Taylor Woolsey is the Chief Operating Officer of York Realty Inc., family-owned landlord and developer of more than 8 million square feet in Western Canada. As COO, Taylor optimizes processes and aligns the company’s vision and values with business objectives and strategy. Taylor is known for her communicative and practical approach, focusing on solutions rather than problems. She manages a collaborative team focused on delivering Property Solutions Simplified and putting the tenant first. She also serves on the board of the Alberta Business Family Institute, which provides research, education and outreach to support business families, their advisors, employees and stakeholders. Taylor has an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and a law degree from the University of Calgary. Prior to joining York Realty, Taylor worked as a lawyer in a regional corporate law firm and taught advocacy courses at the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary.

Tina Naqvi-RotaTina Naqvi-RotaChief Executive Officer at Cameron Development Corporation

Tina Naqvi-Rota is the CEO of Cameron Corporation; an Alberta-based, Real Estate Development Company.

The primary focus of Cameron Corporation is the development and management of commercial real estate projects, primarily, Grocery Anchored and Power Centre developments. Cameron Corporation’s most notable project is the 2.3 million square foot South Edmonton Common development, one of the largest open-air Power Centres in North America.

Cameron has been instrumental in bringing many first-time retailers to Edmonton, having developed the first Costco, first Home Depot, first Lowes, first Cabela’s, to name a few.

In addition, Cameron Corporation includes a land development division, “Cameron Communities Inc.”; a homebuilding division, “Cameron Homes”; and a multi-family division, “Cameron Lifestyles”. Cameron develops and holds its assets on behalf of itself and various joint venture partners, ranging from private businesses to Pension Funds and REITS.

During her career, Tina has been instrumental in all aspects of the development process in all of Camerons divisions, from the acquisition, planning, financing, leasing, engineering, design, construction and asset management.

Tina achieved her Civil Engineering degree in 1990, and her MBA in 1995, both from the University of Alberta. Tina completed her ICD.D Designation in June 2020.

Over the years, Tina has used her education, life experiences, and love of giving back to the community with numerous organizations and committees and boards, including:

She is passionate to giving back to those in need of financial, educational and mentorship support: in particular to women, children, and immigrants.
