    Dr. Gabriella Kindert is a senior banking and investment professional specialising in Private markets. She gained over 20 years of international experience in managing alternative fixed income investment portfolios over the cycle for leading institutional investors. She created and successfully launched several new, innovative private market investment strategies, to which she attracted institutional investor support. She started her career in banking in 1998 in MeesPierson Corporate and Investment Banking, where she gained insight into various asset classes - asset-based finance, project finance, and leveraged finance in different geographies. She held various managerial positions at Fortis Investments Structured Credit, BNP Paribas Asset Management as Global Head of Loans and at NN IP as Head of Alternative Credit. Since 2019, she is focusing on Non-Executive Board and advisory positions focused on Private market investment solutions. She has been an independent director, board member and senior advisor at various prestigious financial companies (a.o. CVI, Mizuho Bank, EstateGuru, Aegon AM, Neptune Leasing, Dot Investing, VER Capital, SME Finance, ThirdSphere) with a focus on international expansion, scaling up businesses, capital markets strategies and investment strategy. She holds an M.A. in History, Economics, MBA in Accounting and Finance (MSM, The Netherlands) and a Ph.D. in Finance. Her research focuses on lending platforms and private market trends.

At the EIF, he previously led the Guarantee & Microfinance Risk Management Unit, focussing on the development of various inclusive finance mandates and inclusive finance products. Raphaël has started his career at KPMG Brussels and Ernst & Young Luxembourg, as audit manager in charge of worldwide Private Equity clients. Raphaël holds a Master in Management from the University of Liège, an MBA from the Politecnico Milano Graduate School of Management and is a visiting professor in charge of the Entrepreneurial Finance and Consulting Project courses at the Louvain School of Management (UCL).

    Johan Hultner is a Founder and Managing Partner of ARCOS Capital, a Traditional Senior Private Debt provider focusing on traditional senior secured lending to the mid-cap corporate market in Northern Europe (DACH, Benelux and the Nordic Region). Johan has over 30 years of experience in leveraged finance and corporate finance. Prior to joining ARCOS, Johan worked first with UBS for 12 years in London in corporate finance where he led teams advising corporates and private equity firms on M&A, equity and debt related transactions. He then joined RBS for 13 years as Managing Director and was responsible for originating, structuring and managing corporate loans in the European Leveraged Finance market. Johan also served as Board member of RBS’ Leveraged Finance Division and as Chairman of the bank’s Leveraged Finance Credit Committee.

    Portfolio Manager, Direct Lending at Fidelity International
    Marc Preiser has a wealth of experience in private credit investing, having worked in the industry since 1992. He joined Fidelity in April 2022 as Portfolio Manager for the Direct Lending Fund. Prior to joining Fidelity, Marc served as Senior Advisor to Next Wave Partners, a lower mid-market private equity firm. He also held the position of Head of European Private Credit for Apollo Global Management, where he led Apollo's entry into European Direct Lending, investing over €3.0 billion across Europe in directly originated middle market investments. Marc's experience extends to the US, where he was Managing Director and founding team member of MidCap Financial, a currently $25 billion US-based Direct Lending business, owned by Apollo since 2015. He was instrumental in building MidCap's originations and capital markets platforms. He was also with Merrill Lynch Capital as a member of the healthcare team, building the business from scratch to more than €3.0 billion across various healthcare sectors and strategies. Marc's extensive experience across multiple financial institutions, including BNP Paribas and Credit Lyonnais, has further enriched his expertise in private credit.
