Joana Castro, Partner, Head of Primary Investments, is product head for the Climate Impact Fund and responsible for ESG integration in private equity. Joana is a member of the advisory board of several private equity funds and member of British Venture Capital Association’s Responsible Investment Advisory Group. She joined Unigestion in September 2016. Joana began her career in 2007 in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. In 2010, she joined the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as Senior Analyst focusing on private equity funds investments and became Principal at EBRD in 2013. Joana graduated in Economics from Catolica Lisbon School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal.

In 2010 Constantin founded IKAV, an international energy infrastructure asset manager. He is chairman of the group and the IC. Constantin has 18 years of industry experience. Under his leadership IKAV has expanded its franchise to over 7 countries and to include investments in renewable (PV, CSP, wind, geothermal, energy efficiency) and conventional energy (Power Plants, upstream & midstream).

IKAV‘s Headquarter is in Hamburg, Germany and manages approx. EUR 4.7bn. IKAV has additional offices in Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Portugal, France and USA. Prior to 2010, Constantin worked at Credit Suisse, London, developing strategic and tactical investment solutions for insurance companies and pension funds. He began his career at KPMG, Cologne as special advisor to investors on complex financial instruments within the framework of HGB, IFRS and regulatory law. Constantin holds a degree as Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Bremen.

Dörte is General Partner at Climentum Capital. Before that, she was an Entrepreneur and Angel Investor with a strong network in Berlin and background in Consulting from McKinsey. She led the global HR Team and the incubation of Rocket Internet’s portfolio of young companies and scaled more than 50 startups from the idea stage to Series A. In addition she built her own SaaS company IdeaFox and was part of the global leadership team of the Unicorn HelloFresh.

Joerg MetznerJoerg MetznerPlatform Partner at TPG Rise Climate

Joerg Metzner is a Platform Partner for TPG Rise Climate based in London, having joined the firm in 2023. Joerg previously led the Business and Consumer Services team at KKR’s main buyout fund across Europe where he helped to invest ~$8bn of equity across 15 transactions, including in circular economy, waste recycling and compliance services. Prior to joining KKR, he was a consultant at McKinsey after graduating from the University of Oxford. Joerg set up a climate justice foundation during his gardening leave before joining TPG.
