Alex is an Associate Principal in the Toronto office of Adamson Associates. Alex's career at Adamson began in 1989. From 2007 to 2013, Alex was the Director of our Abu Dhabi Office overseeing Adamson’s involvement in the $1 Billion Abu Dhabi Media Zone mixed-use development and the Marina Tower commercial tower. He returned to Toronto in 2013 where he has directed some of our largest and most prestigious local projects including The Well mixed-use redevelopment, CIBC Square, and the Canada Square redevelopment.

Adam Feldmann is a seasoned architect and project manager with 25 years of experience in market and affordable housing, mixed-use developments, academic buildings, and waterfront public spaces. A founding member of the a—A studio, Adam uses intelligent and sustainable design to improve the quality of individual buildings and urban spaces, and enrich the lives of individuals and communities across Canada and the US. Adam has been a Project Director for the three-tower, 1,700-unit residential program at The Well, a 3.2-hectare mixed-use residential, office and retail development on the former Globe and Mail site at Spadina and Front Streets.

Adrian PriceAdrian PricePrincipal at BDP

Adrian is a principal and leads BDP’s London team on retail-led mixed-use schemes. His role includes masterplanning, urban design, concept and detail design and delivery. Notable projects include Achrafieh, Beirut; Chapelfield Norwich; New Cathedral Street, Manchester and Element's Square, Livingston. His studio has won various awards, including Retail Architect of the Year in 2006. Adrian is a regular presenter and is a member of the Design Review Panel.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Rod brings a wealth of expertise to his Associate role at Wallman Architects, particularly in the realm of high-rise residential projects. With a diverse portfolio spanning the luxury, market condominium, and rental sectors, Rod has gained extensive experience across a wide range of building typologies, encompassing commercial, residential, and institutional spaces. He is highly versed in multiple stages of the design process, including schematic design, working drawings, and contract administration. Recently, this included coordinating and managing the design development of three mid-rise residential buildings at The Well. His unwavering commitment to design excellence coupled with his meticulous eye and deep understanding of the design process make Rod a valuable asset to each project he undertakes.

Description

The Well has been called the most ambitious single mixed-use project in Canada. Located on the western doorstep of Downtown Toronto, and bordering Front, Spadina, and Wellington, the complex includes 1.1 million square feet of office, 500,000 square feet of retail and food services, and 1,700 residential units spread throughout multiple buildings, all connected to a 3-level retail base.
