    Mauro is a Managing Director on the Secondaries team and a member of our Responsible Investment Committee. He has over 10 years of investment management experience, and has been involved in primary and secondary investments across the entire spectrum of private equity and infrastructure strategies. Mauro has distinguished himself by developing Capital Dynamics’ proprietary quantitative model for analysing performance, by helping to establish the firm’s strategic business partnerships around the world, and more recently by leading the firm’s portfolio and risk management team. Mauro holds a master’s degree in Mathematics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

    Mr. Chandra joined 57 Stars in 2008, and is responsible for sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and monitoring of investments in private equity partnerships and co‐investments across 57 Stars’ target markets. He is a member of the advisory boards of several private equity funds, and has two decades of private equity experience across the US and Emerging Markets. Prior to joining 57 Stars, Mr. Chandra was an associate at Key Principal Partners, where he was involved in mezzanine and equity investments in middle‐market companies. He was also involved in leveraged finance transactions as an associate at KeyBanc Capital Markets. Mr. Chandra has prior experience as a supply chain consultant for J.D. Edwards & Co. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, an MS in Management Science from Case Western Reserve University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Mr. Chandra is from India and speaks English, Gujarati, and Hindi.

    Mark K Norbury is a Founding Partner of Scenic’sfund business, which focuses on direct venture secondary and pre-IPO growth equity investing. His experience includes raising debt and equity capital for privately held businesses, including Private Equity and Venture Capital backed businesses and family enterprises. On the buy-side, he has led over USD 500 MM in equity investments and has helped portfolio companies to attract further co-investor capital and to develop business globally. On the sell-side, has originated billions of dollars of new business for HSBC and JP Morgan. Mark has extensive experience helping issuers and investors to access deal situations and to optimize financing in direct deals, primarily in the private capital markets. Having lived and worked in the US, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America, he has deep relationships with PE, VC, Sovereign Wealth Funds, wealth managers and family offices globally. During his time as Director of HSBC’s Principal Investments Business, based in the UK and Brazil, Mark served on a variety of Boards. In the clean-tech space, this experience includes a concentrated PV solar system developer and manufacturer, a fuel cell developer and manufacturer, and an electric vehicle ecosystem venture. In Latin America, the portfolio included a menswear retailer in Brazil and the leading food staples processing and distribution business in Latin America. Following his successful career at HSBC in its elite International Manager program, Mark was tapped to set up two cross-line-of-business groups focusing on Billionaire Investors and Entrepreneurs and their family offices. He served as Regional Head for North America and Latin America at HSBC, bringing together the firm’s Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, and Private Banking offerings to its most valuable Ultra High Net Worth client relationships. He was then recruited to join JP Morgan as Managing Director in its Private Client Advisory team to bring direct deals, IB equity and debt financing solutions, and M&A advisory services to UHNW client relationships. At the University of Pennsylvania, Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies (Summa Cum Laude) and a Master of Government Administration at Penn’s Fels Institute of Government. His thesis was on the Policy and Politics of Economic Revival in Post-Bubble Japan. Born in Tokyo and raised in San Francisco, Mark has also lived in London, Malta, Doha, Sao Paulo, and he is now based in New York City. His personal interests include contemporary art, jazz, wine, cooking, fitness, and the outdoors; he started skiing at age two and has been going downhill ever since.

    Pablo is a co-founder of Nexxus Iberia, and like Maite Ballester, he worked at 3i, where he became one of the partners of the firm. Later, he joined AZ Capital as partner and as an independent advisor to medium-sized companies, both in their boards and in inorganic development processes. He has participated in 25 operations and has participated as member of the board of directors in companies such as Intermás, La Sirena, Everis, The Eat OutGroup, or Dogtrack, among others. Today he es a member of the borad of directors of STM Seguridad and OFG Telecomunicaciones. Pablo holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from IESE and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona.
