Gillian is Head of Intermediary Solutions at Schroders, and has over 30 years’ experience working in financial services.

She had an extensive career at Standard Life followed by consultancy positions with a range of platforms, asset managers and financial advisers.

In 2016 she founded Discus, a business providing research and for advisers about the outsourced investment market and discretionary managers.

At Schroders, Gillian is responsible for investment solutions for the UK Intermediary channel including Schroder Investment Solutions comprising model portfolios and multi-asset funds. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Benchmark Capital, is on the advisory board for Women in Asset Servicing and was named as ‘Women of the Year- Investment’ at the Professional Adviser Women in Finance awards 2021.

Emma has worked for ITV News and the BBC as a presenter and correspondent for the past 20 years. An accomplished and versatile broadcaster, Emma has covered a wide range of current affairs from the London Olympics to General Elections. Working in highly demanding newsrooms, on award winning programmes, Emma's extensive experience interviewing politicians, business leaders, sporting legends and celebrities has now led to her offering her skills as a media consultant and trainer, conference facilitator and presenter.
